Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Release Date and Time
The current evidence set lists Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 25, 2026. A separate launch-schedule post reports a global unlock at 3:00 PM UTC on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
The date is the clearest current answer. The reference listing provides the date, while a separate launch-schedule post reports the exact UTC time. Recheck the official Steam News announcement and the relevant platform store before publication or a live countdown is added.
Quick answer: The current material lists August 25, 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A community launch schedule reports 3:00 PM UTC, while Switch 2 is listed only as a later Q3 2026 window.

|---|---|

If you are checking whether your hardware is supported, use the platforms guide. If you are checking when you can buy the game, the price guide keeps the current edition information separate from the release schedule.
Global Launch Time
A Reddit launch-schedule post labeled “Official News” reports that the game launches globally at 3:00 PM UTC on August 25, 2026 for Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
This is the most precise time in the current evidence set, but it is not a directly captured official announcement. Community comments and time conversions repeat the same schedule, yet they depend on the original post and do not count as separate confirmation.
Treat 3:00 PM UTC as a reported time until the official Steam News post or the relevant platform store confirms the schedule. Do not assume that every region will display the release as a local midnight launch.
Nintendo Switch 2 Release Window
The current material places the Nintendo Switch 2 version after the August 25 launch. One reference entry lists the window as Q3 2026, while a beginner guide only says that the Switch 2 version is coming later.
That supports a later release window, not a specific day or hour. The Switch 2 launch date, local unlock time, crossplay status, and launch content are not confirmed in the current evidence set. See the multiplayer page if your purchase decision depends on cross-platform play.
What the Current Schedule Does Not Confirm
The available schedule does not provide a verified local-time table for every region. It also does not confirm whether a platform might display a different local time, experience a storefront delay, or offer preloading on a particular device.
For V1, the safest summary is:
- PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S are listed for August 25, 2026.
- 3:00 PM UTC is a reported global unlock time, not yet a directly captured official notice in this evidence set.
- Switch 2 is listed for Q3 2026 in one reference, but its exact date remains unknown.
